Walk Mt Maunganui Summit walk
Mt Maunganui’s Number One activity is walking around the Mount. Hundreds of people take this walk every day, a moderate walk of 3.4km around the base of Mount Maunganui. There are two tracks available to explore the Mount. The track around the base or the Summit track where you can walk to the Top. The 232 metre High Mt Maunganui Summit walk is worth the effort. Some magnificent views of the area, you may be lucky to see one of the regular cruise ships visiting.

Mount Maunganui hot pools offer an excellent hot thermal pool facility. Located at the foot of Mount Maunganui, 1.5 kilometres walk or 4 minute drive.

Mt Maunganui has a stunning beach front. There are plenty of reserve areas for sitting, having picnics and footpaths. If looking to get some fresh air then cruise the Mount on a Bike.
